Since 2008, they have been partners in both dance and life, running their tango school elonga – contemporary tango school. From the very beginning, their mutual acceptance of each other’s individuality has inspired a distinctive tango style — one that celebrates joy, freedom, and a deep desire for connection. Two strong personalities merge to form one captivating unity.
As dancers and teachers, they draw on a rich background of bodywork techniques and ongoing self-study. Their experience includes collaboration with physiotherapists, as well as training in yoga, Cantienica, Franklin Method, and acting techniques.
They are continually inspired by their work with professional dancers, contemporary dance projects, stage performances, and the vibrant energy of students and fellow dancers on the floor. For them, the art of movement — and the dancing body itself — remains a lifelong passion and field of exploration.

Vio & Roberto
Roberto y Vio have been dancing together and developing TangoForge since 2014. They are known for dancing the whole repertoire of traditional tango with ambition, athleticism, and risk, on every music they love in any shoes they find sexy. They teach anatomically correct and distilled technique designed to enable dancers to solve their own technique problems and help others effectively. The TangoForge video MasterCourse is a comprehensive explanation of the 25 Elements of tango in all their variations with all necessary technique. They also offer a KnowledgeBase (wikipedia for tango movements and technique). They have produced theatrical productions and films exploring tango's relationship with hip-hop culture, martial arts, yoga, and art. Their videos are hosted at vimeo.com/tangoforge.
