Our Tango Workshops  : The 3 Teacher couples

Yanick Wyler & Eugenia Parrilla

We focus on bringing awareness to the internal alignment of our posture and on achieveing balance, stability and functionality in all the movements.

We learn how to use the legs without any force and being able to free the joints.

From the mindset of feeling comfortable in our body we work on the embrace and the connection with our partner.

We teach how the body can adapt to a movement and learn to connect with physical sensations in order to find comfort within the movement.

Tango it is a social improvisation dance and we teach you how to discover your own creativity.

The fun of playing and combining ideas with different rhythms.

Our teaching style is passionate and ambitious.

We believe everyone can learn within their own possibilities, no matter your age.

We have a profound understanding of the body and have studied many different techniques over the last 20 years. We will try to solve any functional inconveniences that you are dealing with.

Iwan & Isabella

Since 2008, they have been partners in both dance and life, running their tango school elonga – contemporary tango school. From the very beginning, their mutual acceptance of each other’s individuality has inspired a distinctive tango style — one that celebrates joy, freedom, and a deep desire for connection. Two strong personalities merge to form one captivating unity.

As dancers and teachers, they draw on a rich background of bodywork techniques and ongoing self-study. Their experience includes collaboration with physiotherapists, as well as training in yoga, Cantienica, Franklin Method, and acting techniques.

They are continually inspired by their work with professional dancers, contemporary dance projects, stage performances, and the vibrant energy of students and fellow dancers on the floor. For them, the art of movement — and the dancing body itself — remains a lifelong passion and field of exploration.

Vio & Roberto

Roberto and Vio of TangoForge recently celebrated their tenth anniversary together. Over the years, they’ve become recognised as icons of extreme tango, boldly exploring new creative territories. Their productions have blended tango with hip-hop, combat, escalators, and improvised music — yet at the heart of it all remains a technique of connection and improvisation that is 100% traditional Argentine Tango.

Driven by a passion to expand how we understand and use tango’s rich heritage, they created the TangoForge YouTube channel, Elements of Argentine Tango, which demonstrates every variation of the 25 fundamental Elements.

In 2017, they launched a comprehensive video MasterCourse, presenting these Elements and their variations with anatomically precise, biomechanically consistent instruction. Their teaching explains tango technique through the verifiable actions of the joints and the control of ten key muscles — offering clarity, precision, and accessibility.

Roberto and Vio advocate for bringing the technology of Argentine Tango into the modern world — in tune with today’s bodies, music, spaces, and fashion. And, true to tradition, they always dance with the cabeceo.
